Bry Cox

Bry Cox is a Gold Medalist out of 25,000 international photographers. He’s on the Adobe Software Evangelist team, WHCC speaking team, is a PPA Master/Craftsman about 12 times over, and is Certified. Bry’s owned a studio in Utah for over 20 years, he’s been teaching workshops throughout the US, Canada, and China for over a decade, and has created many training videos, plugins, and books for photographers to rave reviews. Bry’s work has been featured in magazines and covers in the US and other countries. His images are used by record companies, VIPs, filmmakers, TV anchors, and musicians. (Capitol Records, CMT, Billboard Magazine, TV Guide, American Girl Magazine, American Photo Magazine, and Professional Photographer Magazine to name a few.) He photographs prominent people such as LeAnne Rimes, Olivia Newton-John, David Archuleta, Natalie Cole, Kenny Loggins, Linda Ronstadt, Steve Forbes, Mitt Romney, and the last four Utah Governors.

He has planned, staffed, trained and managed profitable sales programs for Fortune 500 companies like Citibank, Pacific Bell, and Showtime, with a record for achievement that includes Inc. 500 Award for growing sales 860% in just 3 years. He has a talent for knowing how to develop sales conversations that consistently win over prospective customers. He has also worked with small business professionals throughout the US and Canada to achieve more consistency, predictability and control over sales results. He has refined networking and relationship building strategies and systems, including serving as a Chamber of Commerce President and providing monthly networking training to several Chambers of Commerce and their members. He is an avid student and award winning purveyor of poetry, which helps him extensively in crafting just the right message, in the right way for his business clients. Are you an artist or are you a small business owner who happens to sell memories? Does it matter? If you’re noticing a gap between where you are and where you want to be, perhaps this is the question you need to be asking yourself.
I her class, “Developing a Healthy Small Business Mindset.” Lisa Dillon will discuss the steps to shifting from a Creative Business to the Business of Creating. There are 10 steps to developing a business mindset for growth and success. Whether you have a brick and mortar studio or work from home, these steps will propel you to change how you view your business and more importantly, will change how your customers view you. And when they see you as a serious business, they’ll pay you like a serious business.
Lisa Dillon is a Master Craftsman Photographer and CPP from Portland Oregon. She is also an ASP member and a Fellow of Photography in Oregon. She is in her 14th year of business and specializes in high school senior and family photography. She is a past president of the Professional Photographers of Oregon and serves currently as president of Oregon Professional Photographers Association (OPPA). Lisa is an approved juror for the OPPA and has served as a PPA Councilor representing Oregon since 2012. Lisa mentors several young photographers and teaches classes on Image Competition, How to be an Image Competition Judge, High School Seniors, and Developing a Healthy Small Business Mindset. In her spare time she likes to travel the world, hike in the beautiful Oregon forests, read as many books as possible and cook (and eat!) delicous food, preferably for a crowd of friends and family. She is a mother of one daughter and now a grandmother of one adorable two-year-old girl.
